Oh crap...I sort of did this in another thread. Oh well.

I usually go by JJ but Jay is cool too. I ride a 02 XV 250 Yamaha that I'm trying to customize now. When I bought it 3 1/2 years ago I was only one year out of a wheel chair and frankly I could barely handle it at the time. There were other reasons to buy it. The light weight allowed two of them to hang from the hitch of my RV. I'm built up enough for a bigger bike now but the budget won't permit. So I'm blissfully seeing how much I can customize my little bike without spending the grocery money.

I'm retired-handicapped but am trying to make a mark in suspense novels. I can accomplish nearly anything on a computer and really love doing computer art. I like to tinker in my garage, mostly on the bike lately, but I have other projects happening most of the time.

I'm married with a 16 year old son. He doesn't like to ride my bike since I chopped it...but that's a good thing. :)

I had a few other bikes before I damaged my spinal cord, all 650s and I liked riding way back then (sold the last one in 95) but I didn't get the bug until this go-round. I have vowed to never be bikeless again.

Not much else. When I worked I was a jack of all trades, master of none...could do anything good enough to get by and usually did. My resume' read like an index for handicraft jobs.

I have a soft spot for old aircraft as well as old cars. In fact if they crushed every vehicle made after 1972 it wouldn't bother me in the least. Same with rock and roll.

That's my whole life in 300 words or less. I'm glad to be here. Thanks.

Wow! It's like a ghost town here! Course, I haven't been helping things myself, either, but, that being said, welcome to the board, JJ! It's cool to meet like-minded people, and you and I have a lot in common, I think... I'll have to remember to frequent the board more often.

Holy hell! I really need to stop in here more often!! People are actually posting stuff and getting replied to!! YAY!! Haha, ugh I think I need to figure out how to clone myself a couple of times and cover all the stuff that I should be doing! Anyway, good to see you on here JJ, RePete is a great dude and(don't tell him this!) a bit of a hero in my book. He's one of the nicest guy's that I have ever met and just has a passion for all things 2 wheeled!

Later, I'll try to keep up...I have some things in the works right now...stay tuned!

I'm a regular poster...to the point of annoyance ;) so if there is action I'll be here.

Nice to meet you Pete. I hope we get acquainted. And Mike, glad to see you present. I hope you find the time to be the host. But everyone here knows wife, baby and business come first. We'll be happy to see you when we can.
